Interpretive & exhibition design
The Mauhaus team is led by Director, Nicholas Mau. Nicholas is an interpretation and exhibition designer, having extensive experience in project work for State and Local Governments; sensitive community issues such as ethnicity and language, government policies and business development practices that demand appropriate design awareness.

He has worked on a number of interpretation projects, including interpretive signage and wayfinding manual at the prestigious Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne (left), which is an example of creativity within the confines of public space; meeting all compliance and health & safety requirements whilst honouring the unique principles of Royal Botanic Gardens.

Nicholas has twenty-five years of design experience in the Private, Local & State Government and Education sectors. He has a Four-year Degree (equivalent to Honours) in Graphic Design from Swinburne University of Technology and a Micro-Masters in Instructional Design.
